Roundhouse Rising: 12 Tone vs. Roundhouse Records: United Vibrations, Tres B, Jero Ferec
A night dedicated to two very special releases as these two independent record labels go head-to-head. United Vibrationswill launch their debut album on 12 Tone Records alongside Congolese folk artist Tres B who will be showcasing tracks from his latest EP (released Feb 14) on Roundhouse Records. Support comes from the wonderful Jero Ferec.
United Vibrations: Combining a rootsy, ska driven sound with a hypnotic live show, UV are rapidly emerging as an intelligent and engaging genre defying ensemble. Describing themselves as "Afro Rock, Afro-Anglo Hybrid, Mulatto Music, Afro-Punk, Jazz-Punk, 12TONE!"

Tres B: Drawing influence from his Congolese heritage Tres B produces a swirling mix of central African folk, hip hop and soul. Nominated for the Best Male UK based Afro/Caribbean Act of 2010 at the BEFFTA Awards.

As well as a strong emphasis on young programmers getting involved in the festival, there will also be creative projects for 11-25s running throughout the week. Projects include remixing, sound engineering, film, radio, photography and fanzine production. Get involved.
Latecomers will be admitted throughout.
