Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra
DJ Koichi Sakai
Dele Sosimi is arguably the most influential artist working in today's afrobeat scene in London, so it's an honour that we can call Jazz Cafe the home of his seminal Afrobeat Vibration party. Keeping alive the music spirit of Fela Kuti, Dele also leads Egypt 80 alongside Fela's son Femi.
His Afrobeat Orchestra continue their residency in 2019 following the sell out success of their 10th anniversary show, again playing an extended late night shakedown to keep you dancing all night long.

Admission to Jazz Cafe is at management's discretion, advance tickets do not guarantee entry. If entry is refused to a ticket holder, you can obtain a full refund (minus booking fee) by contacting Jazz Cafe after the event at [email protected]
If advance tickets are sold out, there will be 200 available on the door from 22:30 so feel free to walk up. We recommend getting down early to avoid queues.

Event Review: We Out Here Festival (Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire; Thursday 15th to Sunday 18 August 2019)
An inaugural festival is always going to be packed with risk and suspense, and after the downpour that Friday night experienced, a breath was held in anticipation of Saturday’s events. However, it is with sheer delight I report that the proceedings seemingly went ahead seamlessly. Saturday I have to jump…
