Aji Pa’ Ti

Ají Pa' Ti with the smokin' hot vocals of Havanera Indira Román and some of Bristol's top Latin players, Ají Pa' Ti cross the bridge between Latin America folklore and contemporary western forms.

The band has an acoustic yet powerful sound; traditional and modern at the same time. Strings from different instruments, like típle, charango, ukelele and nylon string guitar and a section of marching groovy timbales and congas that along with the bass create the most enjoyable party full of rhythms and melodies from the Latin America folklore.

Hailing from Colombia, Cuba, Jamaica, Ecuador and Britain, Ají Pa' Ti plays a spicy blend of Cumbia, Dub, Salsa, Bolero and Bambuco. This is the new tropical folk sound from Latin America!

Ají Pa' Ti have played really packed, danced, gigs in venues like The Canteen, The Harbourside, Leftbank Centre and Plantation(Bristol), Gwdihw Bar and Watusi Fest( Cardiff), Hootananny and Passing Clouds (London) and many happy weddings ;)
