Making their first ever visit, Baka Beyond bring their stunning live show and latest release After The Tempest to Ropetackle. Effortlessly merging African rhythms with Celtic harmonies, expect a pulsating set featuring captivating footage from the Cameroon rainforest and a host of new songs especially written for a version of Shakespeare's The Tempest. It is 21 years since Baka Beyond's acclaimed debut CD Spirit Of The Forest was released. Constantly touring and releasing new albums, Baka Beyond have become one of the finest danceable bands, creating the sound of the global village and attaining worldwide recognition.

Live on-stage Baka Beyond are Martin Cradick (guitar), Su Hart (vocals) and Clyde Kramer (drums), Ayodele Scott (percussion) brings the rhythms and colour of his native Sierra Leone into the mix, while all these elements are grounded by the solid Congolese grooves of Kibisingo (bass). The lineup is completed by the wonderful Ellie Jamison (vocals).
