This trio consist of Marino (Croatia), Viktor (Serbia) and Matthew (UK) and together they bring a wonderful melting pot of Balkan music through their background in classical world, Hungarian folk  and jazz.  Recently formed, they are already the resident band at the legendary Cafe Cairo and Del Aziz, both in Clapham.  They can also be seen at Le Quecumbar and are currently looking into setting up a tour of Europe in the summer of 2013.  At this moment, they are ready to explore the diverse London scene some more and are bringing their music to Ginglik for all to enjoy.

***Worldly Savages***

- is a trans-cultural music project birthed by Erik Mut in Belgrade, Serbia in 2008, raised in Toronto, Canada and matured touring all around Europe and is now based in Belgrade, Serbia. Worldly Savages is a band in the Gypsy Punk tradition, combining Folk Music from Eastern Europe and beyond with Punk Rock Energy, creating fun and energetic music which gets people dancing and screaming, but also has a profound message.

The Savages are currently in the process of recording their first full length album in the city of Belgrade, the band's cultural home. This follows the release of 3 EPs, Crazyman (2008), Make Them Go Insane (2011) & Dirty Little Stray Cat (2012). The band has done three continental European tours, getting a warm reception from audiences in more than 15 countries, and played at some of the UK's hottest festivals, including Bestival and Secret Garden Party. The band will continue to play around Europe in 2013, including a tour of Scandinavia in April.

The musicians who play and have played with the band come from many different cultural backgrounds and regions of the world. Countries which have been represented in the band's line-up during its three year history include Canada, Serbia, USA, Ukraine, France, Mexico, Chile, Scotland, Portugal, England, Germany and Russia, with the trans-cultural aspects of the music attracting and uniting players of different cultures in playing this borderless and nomadic music. www.facebook.com/worldlysavages www.worldlysavages.com

- the original Balkan girl, she's played at after parties for Boban Marko Markovic, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Shantel & the Bucovina Orkestar, supported Orkestra del Sol, Radio Zastava, and had guest appearances at Balkan Sonik, Rumpus and BalkanBeats London!

She's swinging Gypsy dub, Balkan Beats and house in a true electro style - fast & furious!  No rest for the wicked – her spins will have you jumping and begging for more, as she brings her energy through the tunes that take on a journey of discovery!

Dj Shefitza is well known and respected in London as a front runner of the Balkan Beats Scene, both as a DJ and as a promoter. She has brought  bands from all over Europe to London and has helped make the Balkan Electro Beats scene what it is today.
