It’s time to soak up some deliciously swinging live West African Palm Wine sounds and grab your 15 minutes of DJ fame as Chilli Fried presents The Sound of the World DJ Relay, featuring a special live set from the fabulous Abdul Tee-Jay’s Palm Wine A-GoGo, Abdul is a master guitarist and veteran of London’s African music scene. Tonight, he’ll be exploring the acoustic roots of Palm Wine, the guitar-driven party soundtrack of his Sierra Leone homeland. Hip swaying sounds at their finest!

Throughout the evening we’re offering you the chance to show off your skill behind the decks with a short DJ set. Everyone, from well known DJs, broadcasters and journalists to fresh faced first timers, get a quarter of an hour to play their selection of whatever they like and try to fill the floor. Come join this FREE party with host Jamie Renton and expect the unexpected.
