Chilli Fried is back! The unique club night combining the cream of live bands and DJs from London's global music scene, tonight presents dynamic Senegalese-London groove merchants Fofoulah at Rhum Jungle, the beautiful basement bar of Cotton's Caribbean restaurant in Clerkenwell.

Featuring Dave Smith (drummer with Robert Plant's band), Fofoulah blend modern African praise song with urban groove and sabar drumming. Whilst continuing to explore the influence of West African rhythms and electronic sounds, Fofoulah's creative vision embraces each individual members' musical personalities, creating a fresh musical mix which conjures up a funky London club, a steamy Senegalese compound and a smoky jazz dive all at once.

On the decks, Oliver Keen, from the legendary Soundspecies production team, who has worked with some of the biggest names in the jazz, rock and dance scenes + Chilli Fried host Jamie Renton will be enticing you to the dancefloor with a peerless blend of African, global and urban sounds.

8.00 PM – 1 AM, Thursday 21st February 2013 at Cottons Rhum Jungle, Basement, 70 Exmouth Market, London, EC1R 4QP
