Chingfest

Chingfest-800×400-b-08

Free festival Chingfest is back this year as part of Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019, with a new, revamped line up encouraging young people to engage with culture in the borough. Some of the most exciting artists will be performing at the festival, including headliner and Mercury Prize 2019 nominee NAO, who mixes dancehall, R&B and jazz sounds on her songs ‘Drive and Disconnect’ and ‘Make It Out Alive’, and will be returning home to East London for her last UK gig of the year. British acid jazz band Incognito will join the line-up, which will also include the grime collective Lord of the Mics. Home-grown talent will include hip-hop artist Lemzi, rapper Kitch and grime artist Luke November, who recently performed as part of Africa Express. This amazing festival will take place in Ridgeway Park for free.
