Dakota Jim’s Golden Era Of Jazz

dakota_jim.jpg

Each Thursday tucked inside this warmly inviting den you may find yourself transported back in time to the golden era of the Jazz Age.

Every week Dakota Jim brings you an altering set of musicians who are shaking things up with new, old and borrowed complex rhythms and melodies to marvel at each week. The night is lead by resident musicians Peter Sellars, Louise Jones & Ewan Bleach.

This is a budding project which pay's homage to this revolutionary era of music spanning from 1920's traditional Jazz to sink into your seat and soak up to 1940's bebop that you can merrily jive your sock's off to.

The Dakota Jim Orchestra sound is akin to that of Sidney Bechet, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Billie Holiday, Paul Whiteman and more big band Jazz greats so come along and witness it grow!
