Dub Me Always: Masa Rocka Shack Meets David Hill

Dub Me Always presents a pre-Carnival special, in the form of a night of rare roots reggae, when Masa Rock-A-Shacka meets Dave Hill.

Masaya Hayashi (aka Masa Rock-A-Shacka) has run Osaka's Drum and Bass Records since the late 1980s. His Drum and Bass record label has reissued rare and previously unreleased material by Prince Buster, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Alton Ellis, Sonia Pottinger and others, and his Night Wax night club presents all aspects of Jamaican music.

Joining him on the decks tonight is Dave Hill of Rootikal, London's most successful monthly reggae night. Having previously run the Nuphonic and Auralux labels, Hill is also a true connoisseur of all things roots; expect rare roots reggae, foundation dancehall, and select new nuggets destined for the Rootikal label. Support on the night as usual from host DJ David Katz.
