We’re kicking off the weekend in true Magic Garden style with the help of gypsy-Latin-reggae fusionists Duncan Disorderly & The Scallywags, and Bristol’s finest punk-skiffle sandwich – the Poor Old Dogs!

Duncan Disorderly & The Scallywags have been spotted at nearly every UK festival and you may have also seen them playing and walking the Paris marathon in aid of Music For Youth Charity. It’s non stop for the Scallywags and travelling on the road has become a way of life.

Duncan Disorderly & The Scallywags began their musical journey in 2010. With exceptional influences from Latin and Reggae to Gypsy and Swing/Jazz; charismatic Duncan and his Scallywags never fail to entertain. It isn’t all sweet jazz and chilled Reggae tunes, The Scallywags do love diversity with a few banging party tunes not going amiss in a late night show.

Having already toured Amsterdam, Italy and Spain and played shows in the UK at Glastonbury, Nozstock, Secret Garden Party and Sunrise, The Scallywags have notably headlined festivals such as Buddhafields, The Green Gathering, Small World, St Boi Alternativa Festival, Trontano Open Air Festival and Wild Heart.

Poor Old Dogs formed with a collective inclination for good, honest music. They reside in the nooks and crannies of Bristol and harbour a desire to sow their wild musical oats far and wide.

The band’s influences are wide and varied; the childhood friends share a love of traditional folk from the well-trodden paths situated this side of the Atlantic to the other. Their rhythm-led underpinning owes a lot to Skiffle by way of Punk whilst incorporating shades of the Caribbean along the way, be they Ska, Calypso or Dub.

DJ Special Terry is an old skool, top drool, vinylistic groove selecta who eschews tech media, social media, memes and other 21st century follies and sticks to the beauty and beastliness of real choons, one after another, designed for dance floor ecstasy, jiggy jiggy mayhem, bouncing ballistic ballerinas and mash-up rave parties!!!
