Yet another coup as Flamenco Express presents a reckless double bill of guest stars.

Emilio Ochando, a phenomenon from the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza, rose rapidly to perform as a soloist with Ballet Nacional de España and Ballet Nacional de Cuba. An international artist in constant demand, including roles in Nuevo Ballet Español directed by Miguel Ángel Rojas and Carlos Rodríguez touring the World with a repertoire which included Flamenco Directo, Furia, El Alma, Baile de Máscaras y Sangre Flamenca. Emilio has collaborated with Domingo Ortega on 'Orpheus' which toured Japan and the USA; the Montreal production of Don Juan with dancer/choreographers Angel Rojas and Carlos Rodriguez; and a state-wide tour with Forever Flamenco.

He continues his career as a soloist in Spain, and in the United States and Canada with his show 'Mi razón'. He recently won first prize at the III International Dance Festival in Almería, and formed his own company 3DEUNO in Madrid which is now in its second year. An acknowledged master of growing stature.

Antonio el Polo
One of the staunchest defenders of pure flamenco song. Born in the small village of Cañada Rosal in Ecíja, by 10 he was performing in local peñas, playing guitar and singing traditional flamenco cante. In the summer of 2003, he wrote and recorded "Tierra de Esperanza," accompanied by Antonio Moya on guitar. And was commissioned by the Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla to present his work throughout Andalucía, with Ines Bacan and Gaspar de Utrera. Since then, he has been touring Japan, Ecuador, Finland, and the United States. He works frequently with Juan del Gastor in Sevilla, and at Corral de la Morería, Cardamomo, and other top Madrid penas with artists such as Gabriel de la Tomasa, Carlos Jacoba and Antonio Sánchez.

Chris Clavo
A founder member and musical director of Flamenco Express, he began playing the guitar at fourteen years old and later studied with flamenco maestros Carlos Heredia, Diego Amaya and Pepe Justicia. He has performed throughout Britain and Europe with Flamenco Express as well as touring with flamenco jazz virtuoso Eduardo Niebla and Iraqi pop sensation Jassim.

La Joaquina
Founder member, choreographer and director of Flamenco Express. She has worked with Christina Hoyos, Paco Peña and others in Madrid, Tokyo, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Paris and throughout Europe. "This feisty company delivers the finest in flamenco, plus sizzling soloist La Joaquina" Time Out
