KMT specialises in UK black/urban music fusing Hip-Hop, R’n’B, Dance Hall, Neo Soul, Soul, Broken Beats, World, Grime and Pop. He has worked on radio and stages throughout the world for over 12 years, playing in venues like Cargo, Shunt, Fabric, Stoke Rochford Hall, African Cup of Nations 2008 (Ghana), and Glastonbury.
Born and raised in the Ivory Coast and later moving to Paris, Oya Bun's musical taste has been heavily influenced by both African tradition and the emerging sounds of the African diaspora. His sets incorporate Soukouss, Kuduro and Kwaito, with a special focus on Coupe' Decale'.
