On Saturday 18th February, Native Sun join Focus Organization at the esteemed Charlie Wrights International for an evening of addictive African rhythms and head bouncing Hip Hop.
Currently supporting Mercury Prize nominated artist TY, Native Sun is a rhythmically hot duo consisting of bilingual rapper Mohammed Yahya from Mozambique and London-born Afro-Caribbean singer-song writer Sarina Leah.
Their conscious bilingual lyrics and catchy hooks play on themes of promoting a positive culture: peace, equality, social justice and environmental awareness. Over the years, both artists have received a great deal of publicity through collaborations on a variety of compilation albums, international tours across Europe, Africa and USA, and features on UK TV channels, including BBC and ITV.

Bogossy Freshfrenchy
With his weekly show on Playvybz Radio and recent features on Choice FM, Bogossy has quickly built a name for himself on the London night scene. Mixing up a ground-breaking selection of African and urban beats, from Zouglou to Afro-tech, you won't be standing still for long when Bogossy gets on the decks.
Freestyle
Originally from Sierra Leone, Freestyle has a knack for exploring the sounds of traditional yoruba music, jazz, high-life and funk. Currently broadcasting on Colourful Radio with his popular Afrobeats show, Freestyle has previously worked at Voice of Africa Radio and alongside well-known African artists, including Dembo Konte, Kausu Kuyateh, Abdul Teejay and Fae Simonso.
Oya Bun
Focus Dj Oya Bun was born and raised in the Ivory Coast and later moved to Paris. His musical taste has been heavily influenced by both African tradition and the emerging sounds of the African diaspora. His sets incorporate Soukous, Kuduro, Kwaito, with a special focus on Coupe' Decale'.
