Since the birth of roots reggae, Grammy-nominated vocalist Freddie McGregor has had a huge impact on the genre and has contributed to mould it with his conscious lyrics and soulful sound for more than 50 years.

5 years since his last Jazz Cafe appearance, McGregor returns to their stage alongside a full live band for an evening of heart-warming classics such as ‘I Was Born A Winner’ & ‘Big Ship’.
