'Ensemble Sakhioba' brings the unique sound of Georgia!

Sakhioba brings to us the unique sound of Georgia. Nestled below the Caucasus Mountain Range Georgia possesses the oldest pre-Christian polyphonic musical tradition in the world. Its unusual harmony transports us to a different time. It is emotional – not sentimental or sad but raw, singing with the power that lies dormant in all of us, both delicate and mighty.

Sakhioba, a 12 strong all male ensemble will be in the UK in November, sharing their love of the music they were born into. Performing both Church and folk music, instrumentals and traditional dances, this is a rare opportunity to witness.
