BoomTown Fair is a UK festival that takes place in August. It features 4 days of live music and art event that offers an array of fringe comedy and theatre. The festival has an ongoing theme surrounding the "legend" of the festival. A lot of effort goes into the decorations, and fancy dress is encouraged, adding to the vibe of the festival. The festival is divided into various 'districts', each with its own camping ground.
The festival attracts a certain type of festival goer, somewhere between a dance music raver and a hard-rocker. The festival, with its diverse selection of music, and elaborate stages, stands out, and it is growing year after year, attracting more and more people.

Event Review: Boomtown Fair @ Matterley Estate (Winchester; Friday 9th – Sunday 11th August 2018)
Boomtown Fair is a lot of fun. It is an immersive and well-detailed festival that puts a great deal of effort into making Boomtown feel like a real town. This year, Boomtown placed participants at the final chapter of a political framework, questioning where the wealth and power between Boomtown…

Event Review: Love Supreme Festival (Glynde Place, 30th June to 2nd July 2017)
The concept of an outdoor jazz festival hardly conjures images of glitter-filled Glastonbury excitement, a young hip crowd and dance-fuelled elation. However, previously exclusive jazz appears to be undergoing a fashion revolution and the grounds of Glynde Place hinted at this. Love Supreme, the UK’s only three-day greenfield jazz festival…

Interview: Nubiyan Twist (July 2016)
One of the most exciting names on the UK music scene is also one of its most indefinable and difficult to pigeonhole. That’s because the musical ‘dirty’ dozen Nubiyan Twist (in honour of its front woman) dislikes definitions, labels or borders. The band, originally from Leeds, London, Oxford and Dublin…
