ÌFÉ bring their boldly progressive Future Afro-Caribeña fusion sound for a special two night residency at Archspace

ÌFÉ is an exciting new musical project from Puerto Rico based African American drummer/producer/singer Otura Mun. Their music feels both dreamy and incredibly real, a juxtaposition of emotions that can be put down to their brilliant exploration of spiritual Yoruba influences in Latin music, and their ability to blend rumba percussions with live improvised electronics. In this way, frontman Otura Mun’s spiritual journey (that has been documented by VSCO) can be felt in the very heart of ÌFÉ’s music.

Having played a rapturous Richmix crowd in September on the wings of the release of just two original songs, and with lots of love from Radio 1, ÌFÉ are ready to take on London with songs from their soon to be released album.
