Jazz Re:freshed X Roundhouse Rising Festival With Triforce

Roundhouse Rising Festival is back for its ninth year and is bigger than ever.

Boundary pushing jazz pioneers Jazz Re:freshed curate a night with exciting emerging jazz and hip hop artists Triforce and Ayo Salawu and the Jazzadelics.

With an EP under the Jazz Re:freshed label and gigging history with The Late Late Show at Ronnie Scott’s and the EFG London Jazz Festival, Triforce are making a big splash on the jazz circuit. In their own words, “We aim to empower those in the younger generation to take a lead and think outside of the box. We want to take our music somewhere that people haven’t explored before, people have done hip hop, done swing, done RnB, it’s time for it go somewhere else – it’s time for it to be elevated”.

Drummer Ayo Salawu is fast making his way on the circuit, having performed with Hamish Stuart of ‘The Average White Band’ and bassist for Ringo Starr, as well as legendary saxophone player Snake Davis and indie band ‘The Fontanelles’.

Jazz re:freshed is a multifaceted music arts organisation striving to raise the profile of and demonstrate the breadth of expression within U.K. Jazz. They are committed to supporting emerging and established artists; giving a space to jazz musicians who want to experiment and push boundaries.

The Roundhouse Music Collective will open the night and Roundhouse Resident Artist Fred Fredas will support.
