In the mid-1980s, Paul Simonvisited South Africa and incorporated Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s rich harmonies into his 1986 Graceland album – a landmark 1986 recording that was considered seminal in introducing world music to mainstream audiences.
The forthcoming “Songs From A Zulu Farm” , which is volume 1 of their “Our South African Life” album trilogy, which coincides with a world tour.
