The Line Up:

Planetman & The Internationalz – reggae, ska, afrobeat and d&b experience!

" Planetman, whose band The Internationalz blend highlife guitars and reggae with earnest folk and brightly soulful vocals. The sounds are varied yet simply catchy; the spirit is infectiously upbeat." Metro

Little Blue Ball founder and host, Planetman and his band The Internationalz come with a message to express and a mission to embark upon. To promote love & unity amongst all, while blending elements of Reggae, Afrofunk, Rock and D&B into their own distinctive style.
East-London's cult band and members of the Passing Clouds Collective, they formed in summer 2001 and have played at the country's biggest festivals including Glastonbury Festival, Notting Hill Carnival, Big Chill, Secret Garden Party, Sunrise Festival, to name a few. They also performed internationally in Portugal, France, Hungary, Holland, Thailand, Tanzania, Scotland and Ireland.

"Planetman & The Internationalz prove conclusively that pure groove still has a place in the hearts and souls of man. Planetman is a singer consumed with the passion of his art. He and his band live and breathe for live performance, and their communal spirit echoes throughout their songs – all of which call out in perfect harmony for equality, peace, love and understanding. This is a good-time band who will have any festival crowd up on its feet, shoes kicked off and toes dancing through the fresh green grass."

Gypsy Fever

Slightly manic six-piece Ethno/Rock/Gypsy/Swing fusion band. They create music that swings hips, stirs nomadic souls and makes the crowd roar!!

Lead singer, Katarina Gadjo, the founding member of Gypsy Fever, grew up in Modosh - a small Serbian village that has been swaying to the heterophonic heat of the local Roma musicians for generations. There, as the old saying goes, music is used to 'beat sorrow into celebration'. Though born of their sorrows, the celebratory nature of the music defies the difficult and marginal existence of many Gypsy-Roma. With this music - that exists only in the air and the blood - Katarina arrived in London via the ashrams of India, found musical comrades from from Hungary (Peter - Bass), Czech Republic (Ondrej - Drums), Italy (Daniela – vocals) and the UK (Rich – Guitar and Ben - Clarinet/Sax), and so began the twisting into existence of Gypsy Fever, the band that Milosevic forgot!

Future Swing Stories -

Launching their latest single "Jazz London" on the night, this crew is playing some of the best Electro-Swing around!

Future Swing Stories is a London based collective of Producers, Dj's, Promoters, Bloggers, Designers & to top it all off, a kick ass live act!.
Their sound merges a forgotten era of Swing, Jazz, dixieland, new Orleans with the contemporary sound of Big band breaks & bad boy bass.
Their music, although very important to the "electro swing" movement, borrows heavily from old school hiphop breaks, Nu-school bass lines, dusty drum loops and swing era samples. arriving at a sound that quenches even the most discerning of the dance music generations thirst.
