As part of their 'Jazz Beyond Borders' series within The EFG London Jazz Festival The Forge presents....London-based Lokkhi Terra tear up the music rule book, mixing afro, latin, jazz, funk and cross-cultural improvisations.
An opportunity to get up close and enjoy core members of Lokkhi Terra, playing next to you at an intimate yet thumping evening of live music. Mixing afro, latin, jazz, funk and cross-cultural improvisations this London-based collective are widely acknowledged as an international music force. While sharing the stage with legendary musicians around the world and playing at the largest world music festivals, they have chosen The Forge as a local stage where they can connect with their town and with their fellow musicians.

They have been wowing audiences across the genres, from the world music Womad festival, regular sell-outs at Ronnie Scott's jazz club in London, to supporting the Afro Cuban All Stars at the Latin La Linea festival at The Barbican and the closing ceremony of the South Asian Games.
