For the first Love Carnival of the year we’re taking a trip east… east London - bringing the tropical vibes to the amazing Total Refreshment Centre with a two very exciting guests El Búho and Umoja.

Following the recent release of his debut album ‘Balance’ on Wonderwheel Recordings El Búho makes his London club debut at Love Carnival. His music blends together the folklore rhythms and melodies of his adopted Latin America with digital sounds and bass to create a deep, melodic journey. His own journey has seen him collaborate with the likes of Lucas Santanna and Chancha Via Circuito as well as releasing via ZZK Records and his own global artist collective Shika Shika, and co-ordinating / curating the incredible A Guide to the Birdsong of South America compilation.

And joining him, hailing from the Netherlands, Umoja are a dynamic duo whose music presents an expression of their love for experimentation with African, South American and other global sounds, and has long been a staple of many DJs’ sets and they are veterans at tearing up the dances in tropical parties all around the world.

As ever, the Love Carnival familia Cal Jader, Selecta Madmax & MC Fedzilla will be representing the full spectrum of Tropical riddims, Global Bass, Dancehall & Carnival sounds.
Plus mind-blowing visuals from Oddscene, immersive interactive fun, colourful characters and vibrant tropical decor.

Love Carnival is a regular party providing your recommended dose of tropical uplift at South London’s favourite warehouse spot. Bringing in top international and homebrewed guests from the world of tropical and global bass music. In the past two and a half years the party has hosted the likes of Chancha Via Circuito, Uproot Andy, Maga Bo, Poirier, Schlachthofbronx, Cocotaxi, The Mr Bongo Soundsystem, iZem, Chief Boima, Dance Kill Move, Isa GT, Mina, 47 Soul (live), Rafael Aragon and many more. DJs running through the spectrum of fresh tropical riddims from Cumbia to Afrobeats, Dancehall, Moombahton and much more. Not forgetting our cutting-edge visuals, vivid Love Carnival decor and interactive fun.
