Making Tracks Tour – Grupo Lokito

In association with Making Tracks

Grupo Lokito (meaning Spanish Lingala) is a fusion of two seemingly disparate but in fact closely linked cultures.

"You may not have heard of them, but trust us, you will love them"

Combining the style of Congolese and Latin music, Grupo Lokito harness a unique and captivating sound that appeals to audiences regardless of age or nationality.

With their own distinct Anglo-Afro-Cuban approach to music and a charming sweetness to their sound, their lyrics touch on the whole of life, love and hardship, and they strive to make music that reflects modern experiences. By combining the Congolese dance tradition with the energy of salsa, every performance is sure to be both a visual and audio spectacle.

A continuation of the travelling concert series featuring inspiring international music at 13 major music venues across the UK.
