Mama Sutra is a London based sextet that has rapidly evolved from a nightclub dance band to a Jazz club and music festival favourite. Their soulful high energy music is uplifting, inviting listeners to lose themselves in its groove and melodies.
Drawing from Dance Music, Jazz and Afro-Latin elements, Mama Sutra delivers an intoxicating brew of ritual rhythms, vocal lead anthems and furious improvisation that has captivated fans at Jazz Re:freshed, Ronnie Scott's, Wilderness and other major festivals and venues across the UK and Europe.
Mama Sutra release their first EP this autumn and returned to Ronnie Scott's main club this October.
4 piece London based, jazz infused quartet Sokkyo comprised of Grifton Forbes-Amos (Trumpet), Kavi Maraj (Bass), Laurie Milton (Keys) and Ayman Sinada (Drums) bring a rhythm fueled mix of sounds to the stage. With each player involved in the London jazz scene, Sokkyo meld their prominent individual sounds to create an energetic yet tasteful performance, different every time they play.
