Dom Pipkin & The Ikos
Dom Pipkin is one of this countrys most sought after piano players, apart from his regular recordings and tours with Paloma Faith, Dom has played for Stanley Kubrick, Morcheba, Jim Jones Revue, Ray Davis and more.
Headlining Mardi Gras Mambo at Hootananny with his own band, The Ikos, they'll be showcasing their New Orleans influences - fleshed out with drums, harmonies and wailing sax. From their residency at Ronnie Scotts London, and around the RnB club scene, the band's reputation as a top level live act is second to none.
Chris Corcoran Trio
Stunning instrumental outfit, this is a line-up where sound and substance not only matter, but are delivered with every tune. But it's not purely chasing authenticity, there is a real freshness to the groove riding between the rhythm section and Chris' playing.
The Brass Volcanoes
The Brass Volcanoes are inspired by a long tradition of Brass Bands from New Orleans as well as other parts of the world. They have their own interpretation of the style - playing a mix original songs unique to the band, arrangements of popular songs, Mardi Gras and jazz standards, funk classics...
PLUS GUMBO DJs Li'l Koko, Jonny Bolax and Big Gee
