In her home country she is known as the 'Ukrainian Bjork': in her furious performances the singer, actress and composer Mariana Sadovska crosses all borders: Archaic midsummer night invocations, wedding songs and migrant chants from remote villages of rural Ukraine get a singular turn and transmute into a contemporary sound that spans from folk to avant-garde.
Mariana has recently worked with both the Kronos Quartet and The Royal Shakespeare Company and for this "Making Tracks" tour she will be joined by renown German percussionist Christian Thomé.
Expect the unexpected and be prepared for shivers down the backbone from a voice and a performer who'll leave you shaking in your boots. Really, genuinely, extraordinairy!
