After taking Europe by storm with sold out concerts all around the continent and performances in important festivals such as Paléo Festival, EGYPTIAN PROJECT finally arrive to the UK for their long awaited debut London show.

Join us on 20th Feb at the Rich Mix London. Doors open 20:00.

More of an infusion than a fusion, Egyptian Project is the result of a long and committed collaboration between the defenders of Egyptian tradition and a young French musician, who makes for a journey into unexplored territories. Years before the terms ‘Arab Spring’ was coined, French producer Jérôme Ettinger devoted himself to exploring, preserving and spreading the sound of the North African country he fell in love with. Assembling world class musicians and layering in tasteful electronic rhythms beneath virtuosic playing, his Egyptian Project’s debut, Ya Amar (Six Degrees Records), is the most potent album to arise from this country since the political upheaval began.
