Nest Collective Presents: Folk With Altitude: Dom La Nena & Moira Smiley


The Nest Collective take root on the Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden for a series of summertime gigs during Festival of Love.

Providing a summer soundtrack to the London skyline - Folk with Altitude returns for a 4th year under the banner ‘New Folk, Old Folk & No Folk' - Bring brollies, pillows and an eager ear!

Dom La Nena - Brazilian cellist and songwriter Dominique Pinto, known by her stage name Dom La Nena, draws favourable comparisons as disparate as 'a young Brian Wilson' (Wall Street Journal), 'a bossa Joanna Newsom' (Time Out New York), and 'Cat Power's...lost sister' (Pop Dose).

Moira Smiley - A musical polyglot with a soulful repertoire of traditional American folksongs Smiley's work can be heard on feature films, television programs, Radio & on more than 60 albums. When not leading her own group, Smiley tours with Indie artist tUnE-yArDs, Solas, The Lomax Project & more.
