Revered Ninja Tune artist Romare returns to Bethnal Green on 2nd March, performing live with a full band at Oval Space, joined by Moscoman Live and YAM Selectors.
Romare has joined Ovation twice before. Back in October 2015, the young Londoner tore the roof off Oval Space with a headline performance featuring tracks from his debut album, Projections. Then, last November, he brought his new live show to The Pickle Factory for a rare intimate gig. Reimagining the cultural impact of the collage technique for a new generation of music listeners, Romare's release catalog to date presents a unique and yet utterly personal sound, lacing together historical African American influences with infectious swing, compelling samples, heavy riffs and hooks. On 2nd March, Romare returns with a full band live show.

From Berlin via Tel Aviv comes Moscoman, the music producer behind underground hits on ESP Institute, Correspondant, I'm a Cliche, Eskimo Rec, and the curator and owner of the up and coming record label, Disco Halal. Moscoman's distinctive sound, which takes in elements of Techno, New Wave, House, and the sounds of his native Middle East, has seen him quickly soar to prominence via his own production, his remix work, and his DJing style, and has now further been cemented by the success of Disco Halal, a label which aims to not only shine a light on lost musical curiosities from his own culture, but also to re-sculpt them for a modern dance floor.
