The London Intl Ska Festival is delighted to present another exclusive show; Johnny Osbourne performing his classic Studio One album 'Truths and Rights.' The album is quite rightly regarded as one of the greatest reggae albums ever made and has not been performed live in it's entirety anywhere since it's release in 1979. It helped to usher in the 1980s dancehall sound and solidified his popularity as one of Jamaica's finest singers. Produced by Clement Dodd, who's legendary foundation label was undergoing a creative renaissance with new prototypical dancehall albums, presented Johnny with a plethora of classic Studio One rhythms from the vaults on which to write and record his timeless lyrics. The results on this landmark album speak for themselves.
