Passing Clouds Fiestival! Saturday

It's finally getting towards Summer time, so the creative minds behind Passing Clouds have come together to organise a Bank Holiday Weekender that you won't forget!

Here at Passing Clouds we've seen everything from Folk to Jungle come through our doors over the years, so we've put together a selection of some of our favourites to create a tropical 2 day mashup in the heart of East London.

Fiestival kicks of with a proper having it Saturday night, featuring an eclectic mix of rising stars on the UK underground scene. The madness continues on Sunday, starting gently with some acoustic sessions and workshops before descending into a diverse array of the craziest festival bands on the circuit!

☼☼☼ SATURDAY ☼☼☼

BackBeat SoundSystem

Made with movement in mind, this is traditional reggae music slapped upside the head with a party stick! Stomping bass, dub synths & steady grooves create a funky roots sound that's great to dance to!

Professor Elemental

Meet the man behind the world's first steampunk rap album! His music charts subjects such as steam-powered flight, underwater discovery, and nice cups of tea, all delivered in a hilariously eccentric steampunk style.

An eclectic electric mash up of influences from Jazz, Afro, Funk, Latin, Ragga to Rock and far beyond! This band stirs up our music culture with flavours from the past, present and future.

Ghost Writerz

Pioneers of the UK's very-own Sound System Music, this duo's work fuses Reggae, Hip Hop and Jungle with conscious (sometimes raucous!) lyricism and melodic hooks.

This Bristol crew's alt-world tropidelic sound
combines a multicultural mix of musical genres; ripping influences from around the world to produce a dense ball of exotic rhythms played to the backdrop of grey skies and dark alleyways!

Koichi Sakai

Nothing but the very best in Soul, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Latin and Afrobeat from the man behind Ghetto Lounge:

Urgent Union

Big carnival vibes from Passing Clouds' resident DJs!

Selecta Mad Max

This mixmaster takes influence from dub, roots, dancehall, DnB, Latin beats & Future Bass with the aim of blending that shizzle into tropical dancefloor bangers!

The Sultan

This Beatroots regular always kills it! Whether it be Dancehall, Garage, House, Jungle or Hip Hop, the Sultan is well practiced in creating a party atmosphere that always leaves a impression.
