Matt Ford, aka DJ Format, first came to attention at the start of the noughties with a series of sharp 12 inches featuring guest vocalists Chali 2na and Canadian rapper Abdominal, who later became a regular collaborator.

Every Saturday at the The Jazz Cafe, we connect the dots between soul, funk, disco, house and Motown classics from across the ages with our weekly Saturday club night Soul City.
With a luxurious cocktail bar on our mezzanine floor and an energetic dance floor below, join our favourite selectors as they dig deep into their record crates and take us on a trip through some of their most-loved party grooves.
