Performance storyteller Sally Pomme Clayton brings stories to life with sparkling words, playful humour, and haunting images. Tonight's performance draws on the feisty female protagonist found in the storytelling traditions of the Middle East, Arabia, and Mediterranean. Delight in elaborate tricks and wild romances with tales about girls with answers; twirling dancers; willful lasses, and sly entrancers!

Also featured tonight is Akdeniz Trio performing music from all corners of the Mediterranean: from Andalucia to Lebanon, Morocco to Turkey. The trio comprises Kalia Baklitzanaki on Kaval, Arabi Nay and Voice, Shirley Smart on Cello and Elizabeth Nott on MidEast percussion.
