Presenting some of the Arab world’s finest hip-hop and underground artists and music, these nights are dedicated to celebrate the lyrics, message and spirit that has helped launch this contemporary Arabic music scene onto a global platform.

For one night only, these artists and DJs will come together in London for a spectacular performance showcasing the finest Hip-Hop and rhythms the Middle East has to offer.

Thursday 8th October
7 Torrens St. EC1V 1NQ
20:00 - 01:00

Heralded by the major French newspaper Le Monde as “the spokesman of a new generation,” DAM, the first Palestinian hip hop crew and among the first to rap in Arabic, began working together in the late 1990s.
DAM’s music is a unique fusion of east and west, combining Arabic percussion rhythms, Middle Eastern melodies, and urban hip hop
Ten years of performing all over the world has strengthened DAM’s commitment to continue living in their hometown of Lyd working to provide the youth of the city and neighbouring communities with programs and opportunities that have otherwise been denied to Palestinian citizens of Israel.

47SOUL is an electro-mijwez, shamstep, choubi band.
The members are rooted in Bilad Al-Sham, spanning the divides from Amman to the Galilee, the Golan Heights to Ramallah. This new sound of 47SOUL has rapidly amassed fans in the Middle East and Europe by blasting the electric Arabic debka sound through underground music scenes.
The electronic and urban influence in their music takes them far out of the ‘world music’ context and places them in the genre of a new generation of international electronic/hip hop acts that are reinventing the old for the future.
