Roll up Rollrighters!

Your favourite little festival is back. After a long winter break we're ready for the third instalment of this gem of a weekend, featuring music, performance, live art, circus, storytelling and rollicking rural tomfoolery. Join us for a right royal time over the Jubilee weekend, Friday 1st to Monday 4th June 2012.

We've got a thrilling line-up for you this year. Our Sunday headliner is Afrobeat legend Dele Sosimi, the keyboardist from Fela Kuti's band Egypt 80, and his AFROBEAT ORCHESTRA. Other highlights include Gypsy Hill, delivering their dubstep mix of gypsy brass, rocking guitars and electronic beats, and Lokkhi Terra, fresh from their WOMAD appearance last summer, playing Bangladeshi & Latin jazz fusion. Friday night openers are the stellar Yes Sir Boss!!! the Bristol-based ska and reggae kings. Catch them before they head off on their US tour.

After a barnstorming 2011 on the festival scene, The Lizard Stage hosts some of our global, folk and roots music acts as well as serving that famous chai all weekend long. The Disco Shed return with a vengeance, bigger, better, and with even more silly games. The Harrison Jam Stage comes equipped with a recording yurt from Cozy Yurts so you can hang onto all those magic moments; the wonderful, wood-fired Bimble Inn Hot Tub will warm your cockles while feeding you champagne, and those connoisseurs of carnage the Rubbish Sideshow will gear up for another series of peculiarities and frivolities, with an acrobatic cow or two.

Tickets can be purchased throught this link

Or you can buy day and weekend tickets on the gate..

The sunshine is out and the fires will be burning through the night, so expect a healthy lashing of tropical beats, electro swing, gypsy jazz, afrobeats, feral folk and party antics!!

Just 1.5 short hours from London, so we will see you on the hills..

Album Review: Lokkhi Terra – Cubangla [Funkiwala Records; June 2020]
