This evening's concert is part of The "Voice of the Santur" series that was launched by santur virtuoso Peyman Heydarian in July 2010 at the School of Oriental and African Studies [SOAS, University of London] and follows an authentic, yet cross-cultural approach to world music performance. It is a bridge between different cultures and contributes to understandings of people from other cultures. Tonights concert is dedicated to the varied musical traditions of the Kurdish people.
