For 15 years, world-renowned French filmmaker Claire Denis and groundbreaking British band Tindersticks have engaged in an inspired and fruitful collaboration, pushing the boundaries of their fields to produce art of profound and charmed beauty. This show is an unforgettable live performance, accompanying a meticulously prepared montage of scenes from six Denis films: Nénette et Boni, Trouble Every Day, Friday Night, The Intruder, 35 Shots of Rum and White Material.

Denis’s singular projected images soar as the band’s live music envelops the audience. It is gorgeously dark-hued music blending subtle guitar and delicate violin arpeggios with otherworldly percussion and atmospheric washes of symphonic colour. Emerging over it all are the inimitable lyrical and smoky baritone voice of Stuart Staples.
