Wormfood Hootananny Nye: Gypsy Hill + Ed Solo + Onlyjoe + Too Many T’s + Ewan Hoozami

EPIC NEW YEARS PARTY at HOOTANANNY BRIXTON to end the year in a fine style with a massive indoor outdoor NYE festival organised by top live music promoters Wormfood London, with a massive mix of gypsy, electronics, reggae, dancehall, hiphop, jungle and breaks. Add in a huge beer garden, food stalls, confetti cannons + a big screen at midnight + you basically have a recipe for the biggest party of the year - with an intimate pub feel. ahoy!!

8 piece extravaganza GYPSY HILL bring together the balls and the brass from the Balkans, surf-rock Mediterranean guitar lines, Arabic & Jewish melodies, driving bass-lines and a whole heap of electronics, scratching and beats, with big screen visuals and dancers also thrown into the mix.

10 piece London roots/reggae/dancehall act onlyjoe have toured the UK extensively over 4 years, gathering support from the UK's most prolific reggae DJ's including The Heatwave, Earl Gateshead, Congo Natty + Sir David Rodigan.

ED SOLO ends the night: dnb, breakbeat, jungle legend who has worked with Brockie, Blaktwang, Roots Manuva, Krafty Kuts and many more. "Quite frankly – if you want your crowd to go mental, if you want a hook so massive it could land a blue whale and if you want your basslines dripping with warmth and menace in spectacularly equal measure – then Ed Solo is ya man". - LSD Magazine

TOO MANY T'S are the last act of this year with their Golden Era Hip Hop formula; positive vibes, trademark back to back, rapid fire flows and turbo-charged performances. With over 150 shows in the last 18- months, The Dynamic Duo of Rap have seen their party vibes and humour take them from back-alley obscurity to the prime-time radar, right across the nation. 'The UK's answer to the Beastie Boys' (Huffington Post).

And all this mixed together by EWAN HOOZAMI, Bristol's original mashup king, recently signed to Pedigree Cuts, blending hiphop, funk, jungle and upbeat party styles.
