Zoe Rahman Quartet

Gifted jazz pianist and composer whose quartet is completed by Rowland Sutherland (flute), Jeremy Brown (bass) and Darren Abraham (drums). Zoe's last musical project explored the influence of her Bangladeshi father's heritage on music and thence on jazz. Now she has researched the other side of her family's background - her mother's Irish forefathers and their musical impact. Gifted with the knack of writing attractive and memorable tunes, she also plays with monstrously accomplished flair.
