Gallery: Arsenal Of Sounds Opening Party W/ Malphino & Let Drum Beat @ Woolwich Works (London; Friday 2nd September 2022)
On Friday the 2nd of September, we officially launched Arsenal of Sounds, a year-long music series happening every first Friday of the month at Woolwich Works organised by Rhythm Passport with the support of Arts Council England.

In little more than two-weeks’ time, we are back to the Beanfeast space for the second appointment with the series welcoming on stage Orchestra of Samples (by Addictive TV) and Parasang (led by Pouya Ehsaei). A double-bill showcasing our “definition” of London and its sound, featuring two projects offering far-reaching, inclusive and imaginative perspectives over the London global scene.
But before that, it’s time to bring back some memories from the very first Arsenal of Sounds episode in the form of photos and video snippets from the sets…
- The second appointment with Arsenal of Sounds will go on stage on Friday 7th of October.

It doesn’t happen everyday that online music platforms champion the cause of musicians, but Bandcamp has showed us, more than once, to be different from the vast majority of music platforms. Today (until 11.59PM Pacific Time), to support all the artists affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oakland-based company will…

It’s not every night that all the Pizza Express Live audience divert their attention from their pizzas, stand up from their chairs, move their tables away and dance to the notes played on stage. With Malphino, who performed at the Holborn venue on 2nd November, that was quite natural and…

We can’t celebrate and encourage a project like Let Drum Beat enough, not simply because they are a full-female band in a man’s world (the music one), but also because, with their Afro-Brazilian-inspired sound and rhythms and positive attitude, they release such warm and heartening vibes that will inevitably end…
We’re guilty of rarely venturing too far west in London, but when we do we always live our days up, attending outstanding events and enjoying every minute of it. The 2018 edition of Ealing Jazz Festival was no exception. Despite the blustery weather blowing sand all over Walpole Park and…
