Chalanga is a musical experience created by Patrick Di Stefano, a dj and producer, and the multi-instrumentalist Diego Grassedonio based in Turin, Italy

The idea to melt electronic music with acoustic sounds to create the musical alchemy of Chalanga, was born during a live performance in one historical  nightclub of the Murazzi area.

The first frequencies transmitted by Chalanga were intercepted by the Peruvian amazon Shipibo tribes and  the eastern Siberian Yakuts tribe.

In 2020 Chalanga will release on vinyl for Salgari Records (a label created by talented artists to promote music without borders) the EP “Paradisea”: four Afro-Cosmic tunes with hypnotic beats surrounded by exotic melodies, organic percussions and shamanic saxophone.

Analog synth, drum machine, loops on sax and flute are the ingredients perfectly blended by Chalanga to create an explosive mix for the dancefloor.

A live performance with world beat flavour, electro shades, tropical bass, afrofuturistic patterns and psychedelic visions.
