Safe & Sounds: Safe & Sounds #56 – Delia Teșileanu

DT x Bucharest

This Corona stuff really sucks ey! Since we might all be bound by borders for a while, we’d like to come together and share some happiness in the shape of a playlist or mix!

In the next days and weeks, check out Safe & Sounds, where we will figuratively introduce you to and put you in touch with music whizzes, featuring their selections, collections and picks from all around the globe.

Be “Safe & Sounds” and wash your hands!

This mix is an hour-long endeavour of trying to bring people to an inner-peaceful place. If you like jazz and are in need of some soothing, you might find something here. I hope you do.
Be good to yourselves!

Big-haired music head and miniature-sized, Delia is actively and proudly involved in a wide range of exciting projects: presenting a weekly show––Counterpoint––on Soho Radio, and assisting some of the finest independent record labels out there such as Wah Wah 45s, First Word Records, Total Refreshment Records and Mashibeats, as well as co-producing an LA-based radio show––The Expedition Radio x Dash Radio––all whilst always trying to bring other strings of ideas to life.

She spends most (if not all) of her free time with headphones on, digging for new, old, obscure, forgotten, under-appreciated records. Counterpoint is a testament of how eclectic her musical taste is, blending jazz with gospel, hip hop, soul, beats, psychedelia and whatever tickles her earbuds, always with a strong narrative behind her selections.

Host & Producer for Counterpoint (Soho Radio)
Co-producer and correspondent for Expedition Radio Show (Dash Radio)
