I decided to select very pleasant (sometimes even soothing and calming) tracks which somehow work better for me in these times that club sounds. And so it happened that all those tracks are performed by Latin American women!

Mikołaj Kierski is the founder and sole person behind Basy Tropikalne, Polish platform promoting contemporary electronic music from Latin America and Africa since 2015. With over 200 episodes of its weekly live radio show Basy Tropikalne always brings the newest sounds from across the aforementioned continents (and their diasporas) and over the years has also evolved into the netlabel as well as occasional events and parties. On top of that Mikołaj serves as a booking agent for two exciting acts on the Africa-infused club music scene – namely Angolan/Polish duo Lua Preta and Ghanaian DJ/producer Gafacci.
