Patching electricity through PA systems and his own made lighting systems, YA Z AN is a Palestinian DJ and maker currently based in Berlin. YA Z AN has been synchronising electronic music exposed to him in Berlin alongside the influence of the scene in Ramallah. not limiting himself to one genre of music, he plays in addition to house and techhouse what he likes to call “fluffy” techno. In 2018 YA Z AN joined the Ramallah based collective UNION not only as a DJ, but also as a stage designer. He is currently working on different projects between Ramallah and Berlin including interactive light installation, light based games and an automatic bartender.
