Afrosideral esta vez se inspira en Yemaya deidad venerada con devoción tanto por los cubanos como por los bahianos. Ella es la madre de todos los orishas y señora de todos los mares y océanos. Su danza es una espiral azul y con su manto ampara a todos sus hijos! Martenal y justa pero su furia es como un maremoto. Utilizando elementos de Capoeira e instrumentos Afro-brasileños mezclados con cantos Afrocubanos en esta canción nos conecta con su esencia más caribeña y musical. The song is a tribute to Yemayá, the Yoruban goddess of the sea, and blends elements of Capoeira and afro-brazilian instruments. “Filho Do Mar” is a sweet look into the rest of the album, which explores embodies the massive influence that the Yoruban tradition has on the world and the way we see it through the wildly diverse sounds that have been influenced by it.
