Acclaimed Malian rock band Songhoy Blues newest song “Worry”.
http://songhoyblues.com/
The celebrated group felt a deep need to share the inspiring song of optimism, hope, strength and vigilance, during these troubled and uncertain times. “Worry” marks the first time Songhoy Blues has recorded an original song in English, so significance of their universal message could be spread far and wide.
“The harshness of life still weighs on our societies and sinks many young people into a dead end,” says the band in a unified statement. “’Worry’ is a positive energy that Songhoy Blues want to be a ray of hope for humanity. ‘Worry’ is about not stopping fighting because at the very end you will find the light.”

'Running Boy' - Levieux Touré
Lyrics:
[CHORUS]
Don’t worry
You’re gonna be happy
Keep working today
That smile will come one day
Don’t worry
You’re gonna be happy
Keep fighting today
That smile will come one day
[VERSE]
Nothing’s come for free
When you get it free – you will lose it freely
So you better know
Work hard is the best way
Nothing’s come for free
When you get it free – you will lose it freely
So you better know
Work hard is the best way
Let your hope come from fight
And go through your darkness You’ll find your light
-CHORUS-
Keep it
Keep your self control
Keep it
Keep your eyes open
Keep it
Keep your self control
I said Keep it
Keep your eyes open
This got a lesson
You better hear it
This got a lesson
You have to listen!
That smile will come [one day]
That smile will come [one day]
There is a long way to go
There is a long journey
There is a long way to go
There is a long journey
This life is Ups and Downs
There is a long journey
There is a long journey
[Keep fighting today]

Afro Bolero ft. Angelique Kidjo & Mo Laudi - Philippe Cohen Solal

Afro Bolero :
In the beginning was the rhythm. I must admit that initially, I had no intention of being inspired by Ravel's Bolero more than by its rhythmic figure, these famous two measures of ostinatos repeated 169 times on snare drum. As often, I like to confront a secular rhythm with electronic music 2.0 in order to blur the dance floors. When Mo Laudi, a Paris-based South African DJ, joined me in the studio, he delivered a great rap full of positive energy and geopolitical rhymes, from Patrice Lumumba to Biko and from Congo to São Paolo. Then Queen Angelique Kidjo, like a divine diva, fervently sang her hymn "Lonlon" in the Mina language, where the Afro literally meets the Bolero. We will not forget the fine team that allowed me to cook up this sacred cocktail: Flamme Kapaya, outstanding Congolese guitarist, the Parisian DJ-beatmaker Lazy Flow and the late Hilaire Penda, Cameroonian bass player and an active member of the Parisian african musical scene, who unfortunately left us since. Benin, South Africa, Congo and Cameroon meet in Paname, the capital of World Sounds, but the musical adventure did not stop there. The remixes take us straight to London with Poté, to Berlin with Daniel Haaksman and to Johannesburg with the super-group Batuk formed by the godfather of the African electro Spoek Mathambo, the kwaito maestro Aero Manyelo, and the Mozambican singer Manteiga. At a time when travel is prohibited or not recommended, let's be grateful, for music does not need certificates or passports and knows no borders.

Jupiter & Okwess - Na Kozonga
Taken from the forthcoming album "Na Kozonga"
Produced by Mario Caldato Jr. & François Gouverneur
---------
Na Kozonga comes from the Lingala word meaning "I'm returning". After having travelled the world and seen so much, Jupiter returns among his family, "in Afrika". But this journey becomes more metaphysical than a simple visit...
---------
Na Kozonga du Lingala: Je reviens, je rentre. Après avoir voyagé et vu tant de choses, Jupiter rentre chez lui « in Afrika » auprès de sa famille. Mais ce retour sera plus métaphysique qu’une simple visite.
