After a winter break in Senegal, Mukambo is back with his first podcast of the year. Brining us some sounds from Senegal, including Sahad and D.A.B.A., and exploring the new afro-sounds that came out in the first weeks of 2022. The Belgian ethiogroove quintet Black Flower delivers the album of the week, Magma, yet another a vibrant, hypnotic mix of ethiojazz, afrobeat, psychedelia and oriental influences. We travel to Reunion island for some roots and afrobeat, to the UK for afrofusion and soukouss, and finish of between France and Germany for some more afro-eclecticism.
